A prominent stress in our life at present is the daunting reality of leaving home. 18 years of our lives have been spent in the same patterns with the same people in the same environment. It becomes hard to envision a future ‘anywhere else but here’. This song encompasses these feelings as well as the illusion of being left behind as everyone around us seems to be finding their path. This is a message I believe is relevant to be voiced. Filmed in Wanaka, our hometown, this symbolises the nostalgic last few moments I have before it is time to leave. The last few moments before getting ‘lost in the wild’.
